Amy Thomas, LMT, BCTMB
Amy graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in 1999. After working with non-profit organizations focused on protecting our environment for several years, she was inspired to learn natural ways of healing through the profession of Massage Therapy. Amy graduated from the Virginia School of Massage in 2006, and is Licensed by the State of Virginia through the Board of Nursing, she has maintained National Board Certification of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She has continued her education in a variety of modalities in which to offer the clients she has seen at Paragon Day Spa for over 13 years. Amy's tenure at the Day Spa enabled her to build long-term relationships with a regular clientele while developing a therapeutic knowledge including chronic pain, arthritis, post-surgical healing, and joint-replacement.
Through her desire to better serve the Senior population, she acquired advanced Geriatric Massage Certification Levels 1 & 2, from the Day-Break Institute in 2017/2018, receiving the knowledge, confidence and experience to work with Seniors experiencing a wide range of physical challenges.
